At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are seeking a versatile Automotive experienced Engineer to join our Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) in Valencia.
Are you specialists in any of the following positions? Chasis engineer, Program Manager, Design Quality, Vehicle personalization engineer, TVM Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chasis Engineer:
- Improve customer satisfaction, TGW (Things Gone Wrong), and warranty performance by analyzing warranty data, investigating customer concerns, examining returned parts, and participating in multi-functional concern resolution teams.
- Identify/define unresolved and potential customer concerns and their effects across all vehicle line markets.
- Support the implementation and verification of corrective actions/design changes for chassis systems after root cause study, collaborating with supplier/manufacturing/PD (Product Development) teams to achieve PVT quality indicators.
- Lead the collection of all necessary documents to resolve concerns.
- Program Manager:
- Lead local Change Management Meetings (CMM) activities, including running Plant Vehicle Team daily change control meetings, coordinating approval of global changes, managing status updates, and monitoring change costs and timing.
- Participate in BSAQ reviews, manage change processes (MTC), and support Stop Ship/Stop Build investigations.
- Lead local meetings and support plans, handle PDL coding, approval and validation requests, ensure plant feedback is communicated and manage BOM validation support.
- Handle orders for Marketing, coordinate MP1/Rabbit functional builds, resolve part timing issues, track build issues, and manage vehicle sign-off by PD teams.
- Design Quality:
- Evaluate and approve texture and grain quality of the product.
- Review and approve supplier parts and AAR documents ensuring parts and documentation meet quality standards.
- Track and report AAR status and communicate approval status to the launch team.
- Assist plant in color mismatch issues using visual and color measuring equipment to resolve discrepancies.
- Vehicle Personalization Engineer:
- Become the single point of contact for Vehicle Personalization owned parts, handling manufacturing or quality issues, warranty claims and more.
- Plant Vehicle Team Support from J1 +90 onwards, participating in regular meetings such as CPE-DF, CMM, MTC, Cost-PAT, FCPA, VRT, AIMS, BSAQ, daily startup meetings, and so on.
- Give support and carry out the Functional builds for VP-parts in plant, ensuring functional builds for VP parts are completed and approved.
- Investigate and coordinate upcoming design issues of VP released parts. Adress and resolve design issues of the parts.
- TVM Engineer:
- Act as first point of local contact for TVM Engineering in Valencia Plant
- Implement cost reductions changes, focusing on high impact changes and working with plant based and remote engineers.
- Support delivery of prototype parts for functional build trials, support functional trials in the Plant Manufacturing team.
- Produce and maintain tracking and reporting for Valencia related introductions and assist in reporting of other plant introduction data as required.
Requirements to join our teams:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar position.
- Experience interpreting CAE simulations (Moldflow, static tests, dynamic tests, etc.).
- Previous experience working with 5d, G8d, 6panel, TCE Vismock up, Catia.
- Knowledge of AIMS, WERS, GD&T and FMEA.
- Deep knowledge of protocols CAN: KWP2000, GGDS/UDS and ISO 14229, 15765, 15031.
- Experience in TCU (Vehicles, cellular and Backend-network).
- Fluent in English.
