At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are seeking a Product Development Engineer specialized in door panel components to join our automotive engineering team in Valencia, Spain.
Main functions to develop:
- Analyze and commit to customer product specifications and applicable regulations.
- Defined the product functional analysis based on standard structures.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to overall product performance.
- Identify and formalize the Key Product Characteristics (KPC) list. Actively participate in DFMEA sessions.
- Provide necessary inputs to ensure design meets defined performance.
- Ensure consistency between GD&T and process feasibility.
- Lead product validations for the program.
- Define and ensure robustness of BOP specifications.
- Define engineering levels for use during plant launch. Support production launch, analyze product conformity and lead corrective actions.
- Give support to achieve quality, cost and timing target. Proposal and implementation of improvement actions.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the automotive sector as Product Development engineer.
- Fluent in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of door panel is highly valuable.
